We would like to acknowledge that our learning takes place on the Oregon Tribal Lands of: Cowlitz, Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Clackamas, and many other tribes who made their home along the Columbia River.  

We take this opportunity to thank the original caretakers of this land.

ERIN HAS EXPERIENCED THE POWER OF RESTORATIVE PRACTICES

  • On her ancestral land of the Blackfoot tribe with her grandparents

  • Used them in her personal life with her partner, children, and family

  • Utilized them extensively in her teaching practice with students and adults

  • Led various professional development trainings for teachers & families

As a White passing Indigenous educator with over 15 years of experience in education, Erin (she/her/hers) knows the importance of recognizing and increasing racial awareness through Restorative Justice practices as a means to identify areas of growth and change both personally and professionally.
